Hi Beautiful Humans,
I am Patricia Stevens, a Maternal Support Practitioner (also known as DOULA). I focus on all varieties of birth, Labor, and Postpartum care; Certified through Bebo Mia. I am ridiculously passionate about birth and helping to create a positive birth atmosphere. Some may call me a complete birth nerd. I call it my PASSION.
Where did the name Sunflower Doula come from? The sunflower is my favorite flower, it reminds me of many things. The sunflower shows strength , it gets tall and hold its own and reaches for the sky! Sunflowers are always chasing the sun, always looking for the brighter side of things. Strength and fight is what I see in a Sunflower, and that's what I see in birthers. A birthers body is so strong, capable of so much. Bringing a little one into this world is one of the best moments of your life, and your birth should be too! I am very passionate about helping birthers experience the birth they desire because no one should have to birth in fear.

A little bit about me,
I am origanally from California but currently live on the beautiful Whidbey Island. I am married to that handsome man, Tyler. He is active duty in the navy, which is why we currently live in Washington! I have two very handsome boys, Carter who is 8, and Parker who is 3. My boys keep my world alive and theres never a dull moment with them!
When my face isn't attached to a birth book or anything birth related, We like to go outdoors and hike or camp and fish! I love the life I have created, and I wouldn't change it for the world.

Birth Doula
This starts immediately after you hire me. I will support you and your family from prenatal to birth to your postpartum adventure.
What this package includes:
- 2 prenatal meetings; the first meeting will be around 30 weeks, and the next meeting around 36 weeks. We will go over your birth plan, postpartum plan, birth process, pain management techniques, and any other questions you may have.
- I will be on call from 38 weeks-42 weeks
- I will remain with you 1-2 hours after you have given birth.
- One postpartum visit around the first two weeks after birth.
- Rental of Tens labor unit.
- Access to my lending library (options located in resources tab)
- Continuous support through out your pregnancy
